I came upon this doll which belonged to an individual and I am curious as to its origin. Does anyone have any ideas? The original owner thought it may have come from Spain around the 1950s. It is about 17 inches tall. It feels like hard plastic - not wood. The hair is pasted down - not loose. I could not find any identifying marks of any kind. The limbs are hinged as shown by the arm shot. Anyway, it looks nice and hopefully collectible. Help in identification would be appreciated.
She is either Spain or Mexico made doll. The ethenic dolls as well as all dolls have fallen in price . Her value would not be to high . These were tourist type dolls .
Nice and thank you for sharing her :-) She is a better quality than many as she has glass eyes vs painted . No way to know maker unless you can see a mark under her hair or on her middle back . She would date from likely 50's or there abouts .
