I picked this Mickey Mouse watch up at a flea market for $1.00
Other than it being a Lorus Quartz with depth resist to 100 M
The face glows in the dark and as you can see also displays the date.
What year is this watch from. I'm guessing between the 70's & 80's.
Trying to pin point it more exactly. I also would like to replace the missing band. Would love to see a picture of what it origianlly looked like.

I have a Lorus Quartz Glow in the dark with date. I bought it in Orlando sometime in the early seventies I believe. I wore it a lot and one day the stem broke. I sent it in to Lorus for a new crystal, it was scratched a bit, and stem. They returned it saying they had no parts for it. I had a watchsmith put in one locally but it didn't seem to work so I put it away till I could get someone to fix it. I then got a tudor dive watch and forgot about fixing the Micky watch. It was my favourite watch. Unfortunately I don't have the box or papers on it or the band. The band was replaced when I bought it because I like the metal flex bands.
Ok, first things first, Until the end of 1985 Bradley still have the rights to the Mickey watch, Upon the relinquish of their contract by Bradley, Lorus became the newest member of the Disney watch producers. In June of 1986, they(Lorus) issued their first line up of Disney watches. This model was released for sale in 1987. I will post picture of this watch in its original form shortly. Regards, Kerry
