(1 item)
I keep looking to find any info on this swag cherub lamp and to no avail I cant find anything .Why ? What is the maker of this lamp? Does anyone have any ideas? There are no stamps that I can see or makers marks. I have had this beauty since 1980 I do believe this is a vintage lamp,I bought it off some guy who got it out of a fancy house in Las Vegas .HELP :(
Well Blondie I am on the same hunt as you are. I have this same lamp that I found in a house and wanted to see a picture of it in full with shade. I am glad I ran across your pic to see it. There is a table lamp like this on ebay makers mark is L&L WMC but not sure they made the whole lamp or the metal parts. If I find out any more I'll let you know.
The only difference in my lamp is the have no color.
I found a lamp just like that in Goodwill and was rewiring it when the globe broke.
I have used super glue and invisible tape to hold it back together but my heart broke with the globe. As I was reassembling the lamp I found a sticker inside under the cherub. It says Andrea by Sadek made in japan 6765. Yours is the only other lamp I have found on line. I have no idea about its worth ( less now that it's cracked) but if you find anything at all, I'd love the info. I'll let you know if I find anything too. All I've been told is "Go to an Antique Dealer". I hope you find something, and keep it safe.
found a table top version of the same lamp on ebay it was a Andrea by Sadek 1950 antique three graces Victorian cherub lamp and it was $995.00 starting bid. I'm not sure how much more ours would be since their bigger, and they hang. Mine not so much since the glass broke I was able to glue it back together. It's not perfect but it looks good, But I don't have the original shade. I my friend have a very rare expensive lamp and may want to look into insuring it. This is a true heirloom.
I've got both the table and hanging version of this lamp w/ colored cherubs. I had to clean the globes and perform updated wiring etc. the yellow coloring on the inside of the globe washes away w/ dish detergent. also hanging one needed switch repair and i still need to reassemble. if interested 159mrh@gmail
