I am trying to replace a piece that was broken while moving. I would love to find out who made these pieces, the pattern of these pieces, when they were cut or made, and what time period they we produced. Anything and or information that might be able to help me find a replacement for the broken piece. I need to replace the sugar bowl. It should have two handles...picture shows only 1 handle.

Any and all information would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Chris

This is late period American Brilliant Cut Glass. From around 1910 -1920. The glass is not all cut as the leaves were but into the glass by using a mold, then a small amount of cutting was done. you have a big job ahead of you trying to find the maker. Some glass from this period 1875 - 1918 ( or so) signed glass with acid stamp. I really doubt that you glass is signed. However, take a look on the bases inside and out under the handles, matter of fact look everywhere. You need to be in good light and then move the glass around getting reflections. Check Ebay under American Brilliant Cut glass. there are hundreds of listings. There are dozens of sites on cut glass, always start on the net for what you are looking for. Also look up American Cut glass Association.
