These postcards are from my Grandfather's collection, they were sent between him & his soon to be first wife. She passed away apx. ten years later, leaving him with a young son. The centre card was posted as "Tiny" was leaving the UK for Canada, the image is of a famous English Actress from the era.
I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for the Love & the comment bratjjd, I'm glad that I can share these pc's, I will post some more.
Are you getting old & forgetful or is your collection to big. :)
I have also been scanning old photos and PC's it was slow going so I bought a faster scanner, it's still going to take years I think. I want to scan them all so that I can save copies with other family members in case something happens to the originals.
Thanks for the L & for stopping by for a look timbaran.

Thanks Jewels they are great old cards aren't they!
Hi walks, thank you lol! As I was saying, these are great indeed. I have been buying those English toast racks to display old photos and postcards and it looks pretty cool! :)
I assume that they are vintage " English toast racks".
Yes, I have one that is porcelain, the others are some kind of metal. If I see them when I'm out and about, I grab them
I would need dozens of them to display all of my Grandfather's postcards :-)
They will be fun to find! Also, some of those vintage flower frogs are good for the job as well :)
I don't think I've ever seen an English toast rack for sale, but then I haven't been looking either!
Thanks for the love chrissylovescats, Pat & surfdub.
Oh, I hear you, there was one at one of the thrift shops I frequent, I ignored it for several days because really I wasn't sure what it was, then one day, it dawned on me that I could stack paper things in it, so it got to come home with me :) Now I recognize them and snatch them up
