    My cousin bought a house and started throwing things away that were still in the attic. My 94 yr old Grandpa saw this lamp, saved it and swears that it's an antique. The only writing on it is on the dial that adjusts the wick. It says 'Made in the U.S. of America'.

      What you have is part of a Gone with the Wind Lamp, you have the font, which went into the base of the Lamp (your missing). And the top globe. circa 1900. If you need more in contact me at rockerville@aol.com

      Thank you so much for figuring this out for us! Our only question now is what should we do with it? Ha ha! Should we hold on to it and display it or give it to the antique shop down the street?
