My family has collected Haviland for years and I have many unique pieces. I set my table with all patterns of Haviland. This piece is a covered dish with rose design. Perfect for a Holiday table, keeps the food warm and is
    beautiful on display as well.

I have a meat platter of a similar design. It has the greenery with a bit of pale blue and off white flowers and the gold leaf design on the ends.
It belonged to my mother and to her mother before that. I believe my mother had the complete set but sold it all except for this "turkey" platter.
I had heard rumors that another grandmother had a set of Haviland with pink flowers. A cousin still lives in the old family home and I have alerted him to be on the lookout for it when he is rummaging in the attic!

I have been trying to research my Haviland china. Looks exactly like your covered casserole with the rose design. A lot have looked similiar but your's is the closest. My mother purchased the set at the end of WWII in Berlin. We were first set of dependants to go over after the war. My dad was working with the Brits, French and Russians after the city was divided up. The set is quite extensive--is packed away but I want to try and find out more than mom passed down to me for it to pass on the one of her great-grandaughters.
