This is a vintage Oliver no. 9 typewriter. It is in good condition although it need some work. The platen needs to be replaced as you can see and the "A" keypad is missing which also needs to be replaced. The carriagebelt is missing and the hammers need to be realligend. This is a nice oliver typewriter in good condition. For a change the chrome on this machine is in great shape. Like you can see above there need to me a few things replaced. But i am collecting money for that. The keys are in good shape and before the platen shattert i was able to test out if every key works. The need to be realligned but that is a matter of work and time. The decails are in great shape. There is almost no paint chipping and the metal and chrome parts are shiny and beautiful. I'll keep the description short on this one since it will still needs some work but it wouldn't mind to tell it's features.

(It is possible to take the carriage off the machine by hitting the button "right" and using the carriage release you can slide it right off.

*Pencil holder. (Funtion's but is stuck for now)
*It did have a spring tension knob on the back but i assume it's missing.
*Shift gears compartement in the back
A really neat machine and i look forward to work with it.
