    Does any one know anything about this vase? my Grandfather gave it to use 20 years ago, he purchased it at a market in longbeach

      It appears to be a stoneware vase with a incised design. The design was glazed leaving the natural stoneware as a background. If you had posted pictures of the inside and bottom I would have been able to tell weather it was handthrown (most likely) or molded. And there was no mention if it was signed or dated. I think from the style it is from the 1980's. Sorry but our asessment of a item is only as good as the information you give us to work with.
