The first two boomerangs I purchased about 13 years ago from a Colorado Boomerangs in Gunnison,Colorado they were designed by Jim Mayfield in the late 90's. They are alot of fun,but I never got really good at it. The third one I just picked up recently for $30 from a guy who said it's hand carved and was brought from Australia in the 1960's. I have my doubts about his story, but I love it so I don't care.
The third one could well be from the sixties.
"The art designs vary greatly in style from one area to another, from the art of Far North Queensland with it’s ‘x-ray’ style or ‘crosshatching’ seen on bark paintings, to the ‘dot’ or ‘sand’ paintings of the deserts of Central Australia."

The toy you can't throw away.
Thanks Vontrike, if you get a chance I would recommend trying it. It's kind of like golf fun but frustrating.
