    I'm planning to refinish and use this as my guitar playing stool. But, I have no idea what the original use may have been, or who manufactured. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

      Common 1930's -40's kitchen stool, the step allowed getting to those high cabinets. I have had several over the years. Hope you post after pictures, when u getter done.

      I also came across the same stool which was my great grandfathers and have redone this stool
