Another piece from Grandma's collection; Conch shell cameo pin set in simple 18KT setting. She forgets the name of the city it was purchased in. The workmanship is incredible in this cameo, and very little wear, so I think it is a more recent piece from a master carver. Any info on who or what deity this cameo is portraying is appreciated!
Perhaps it's a Spanish woman wearing a mantilla? The comb looks high.
