    1 and 3/4" in Dia. at it's widest point. 2 and 3/8" tall when the two parts are screwed together.. Made of brass with a square steel point in the (what I call) the lid, and a spring steel clip in the base. There is a smokey residue on the interior, but that may mean nothing. There are no marks of any kind except age, wear and tear.

      My husband says that this is a greaser. The funnel looking piece is screwed into equipment and then packed with grease. The top (larger piece with steel point) is packed with grease as well and screwed onto the funnel piece. Then give a 1/4 turn to lubricate your equipment. Equipment as in farm machinery, industrial, anything that needs to be greased. Husband said they used them on the family farm 50 years ago. Hope this helps.
