This is a very early En-Ar-Co oil can pre "Boy and Slate" days. The National Refining Company closed their Cleveland refinery in 1921 shortly after the death of its founder J. I. Lamprecht in October, 1920. The "Boy and Slate" advertising also started in 1921. I picked this can up at auction recently.
its in better shape than my 1920 Sunoco can! lol
