My wife bought me this watch when visiting a local antiques and collectibles fair. It depicts the Mayflower and the Lunar Lander in celebration of the U.S. bicentennial in 1976. I have been trying to research the watch but have come up empty handed. If anyone could offer any info about this watch, eg, year of manufacture etc, it would be very much appreciated. I live in Australia so U.S. collectibles are not my strong suit.

My ex-husband bought me that same watch in 1976 and I still have it. I changed the band on it though. He bought it in Waterlooo,Iowa. I am also looking for info on it. If you wouldn't mind I'd be interested in knowing how much your wife had to give for it.

      Hi,
She only paid twenty dollars for it. We are located in Australia so the U.S. bicentennial doesn't have any historical value over here so it was sold just as an old watch. I am pretty sure it is worth much more than what she paid though. Have you been able to find out any information on the watch at all?
