i have a abbots very old light up sign with a clock, can you tell me anything about it?
I'm not an expert but I do collect because my dad worked for them.If it's an early ('60's?) wrought iron looking frame with a square sign on top with a round clock on bottom I've seen go for $75-200. The later ('70's?) rectangular with square sign and clock next to each other $50-100. There are two of thes on e-bay now as of 12-01-10 (Abbotts clock)
I picked up a wide mouth embossed Abbotts Dairies pint bottle today. Was this actually a milk bottle or used for cottage cheese? I'll have it for sale at our bottle club's annual Historical Bottle Diggers of Virginia Antique Bottle and Collectibles Show and Sale scheduled for Sunday, April 17 ~ 9 AM to 3 PM at the Rockingham
County Fairgrounds south of Harrisonburg, Virginia (Exit 243 off of I-81). Anyone interested in setting up a sales table or needing additional information can call me at (540) 578-3046 or email historyed@msn.com
Thanks,
Casey Billhimer, VP
I posted the previous question/comment regarding the pint Abbotts Dairies wide mouthed bottle. I was comparing it to the collection pictured above and this one's different. On my bottle Abbotts is embossed in script on opposite sides at a slight angle and there's a large block-letter A on the bottom. On the heel is ABBOTTS
DAIRIES INC. ONE PINT LIQUID REGISTERED
Thanks,

I have a very old wrought iron, light up sign, clock , abbotts, Ohio advertizing display co. model b953. Its from my husbands grandmothers candy store. Can you tell me anything about it.
My husband, a contractor, found an old Abbott's glass milk bottle while working. We were wondering if it could be worth anything?
I was cleaning out my mother-in-laws basement and found a abbott's dairy freezer with 4 doors on the top that open like it was used for ice cream possibly. Would this have any value or just scrap for metal? Thanks in advance!
I dug an Abbott's Aldernia Nutricia Milk Dairy tooled top crown in embossed round slugplate.(heavy embossing) its clear and definately TOC. The bottle is perfect with it just needing a spin. I got some info just still doing research and have pretty much narrowed it down to Philly. Any idea what was in it being a soda bottle?
