This is a vintage Skipper nightgown (from 1972, I believe) I bought off of eBay a few months ago. It was in perfect condition-- no tears, stains or pulled threads. A friend of mine was able to find an auction that was mislabeled so the nightgown wasn't listed with most of the other Skipper items on the site. I was able to snatch it up for just $5, which I was very happy about! I'd love to find the matching shoes someday so I can complete the outfit.
I really love the bright hot pink of this piece. It immediately draws my attention, probably because this shade is one of my favorite colors. (I'll try to take photos of the nightgown with a more contrasting background soon.)
Also to note: The model of the nightgown is a Kozy Kape Blythe doll, manufactured in 2001. While she may not be considered "vintage" to most people, she is a big rarity in the world of Blythe dolls because she was released early on when Takara gained production rights from Kenner and first started reproducing Blythes in Japan. The Kozy model was not released in large numbers, and many of them were used for experimental customizations, so a Kozy in perfect stock condition is difficult to come by these days.
