I was able to buy three carriers and a bottle today off my new Canadian coke friend. All 3 were made during the 1950's, two have wire handles one has a plastic type handle. i was able to find two of them in pets book, but the good condition 6-pack i was unable to find. Its a Canadian 6-pack just wondering if you guys have seen it before any idea what its possibly worth. picture 2 is the bottle i got, its the Jacksonville FLA bottle. Picture 3 & 4 are all my 1915 bottles and all my pre 1960's carriers.
Trev ,you're goin to town man!! Nice job putting together the collection, looks great!
Great collection of carriers!! I Like the cardboard ones, I know they are pretty hard to find in good shape.
Thanks officialfuel, pickrknows and spriteboy42. Have any of you guys seen that Canadian carrier before? i find it pretty cool its kind of got both style handles ( the wire handle and cardboard handle) may have been made just as they were starting to use the wire handles? not sure what do you guys think?
Your carrier collection is awesome, love the Jacksonville bottle I live 10 minutes from Jacksonville. Love the old Coke bottles too.
Good grabs Trev!! I looked in Pet 9 and didn't see that carrier either
Thanks Trey & Tom, and thanks fifties50s, vanskyock24. I was told they didnt make as many Canadian carriers as US ( due to the population difference ), so im assuming the Canadian carriers are harder to find, but does this make them more desirable? What would you guys rather have a US carrier or Canadian carrier you have never seen before?
I think i would rather have the one that is harder to find.
Yea thats what i think too, two of my carriers i have seen a few times, but my Canadian one i have never seen before, so im thinking it would be harder to find. i payed 50$ for it wondering if i got a good deal?
