I found this sign and thought it was cool, but don't know anything about it other than it's made of plywood. Can someone give me any information about it?

This tiger was the representative for an oil/petrol company. I remember the commericials on TV when I was a kid. I belive the motto was "Put a tiger in your tank." Sorry that's all I know.

I love the sign. my dad owned an exxon gas station so naturaly i worked there for many years. i dont remember ever seeing this sign before. looking at it closely, looks like it would have fit over the gas pumps we had during the late 60's early 70's. thanks for posting

I love this as my uncle had a Esso station in WV. That would be our first stop. There was a wooden bench outside where the old men would hang out and talk. Inside was another bench and a ice cream freezer and lots of free candy for us kids.

I BELIVE THIS WAS A LOGO FOR ESSO OR HUMBLE OIL.I REMBER THE ADDS ON TV WHEN I WAS YOUNG IN THE EARLY 60s.
