This is my Grampas watch, I think from early 1900's. You can see slightly see an outline of train on the back.
The inside of back emblem/stamp says Silverode 122004.
The inside says Elgin Ill., H.H. Taylor, Safety Pinion and the #5814450.
If anyone can give me any info, I would appreciate it.
I looked up serial number - says made about 1895. Grade 76. What does the grade mean?
I love those open morning glory hands! Very pretty old watch. Here's a good link for you to check out... Oh, great job AR8 my man!
