I haven't been on here in a while. Thought I would pass by and say hi to all of you. So hiiiii!! : ) Also thought I would pass through to share some of my recent finds for some conversation as well as for those that enjoy these types of items.
This is another item that I obtained from a person that found it in an old barn. I think it is from the 1800's, but I am not sure. It is about 16 inches across and 7 1/2 inches tall with its knees bent. The knees bend, the neck moves up and down, and the ankles are also moveable. It is a hand carved wooden puppet horse. Any information on it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you as always my friends and have a blessed day! : )

Manikin you seem to be an expert possibly on these sorts of things and/or are connected to others that are. Your welcome electobacco ! Your horse looks like it was hand carved but produced . His decoration on front of face what it there ? He has a Spanish feel about him. I do love old puppets and he is wonderful old one !
I did add an additional picture of the front of the horse and face which should answer the question you have. I appreciate your feedback as always. I am very confident it is not produced though. What is the main thing to look for on the item to show that it is original as well as its age? I am not able to thank you enough.
