I'm curious about this sign. All the other Texaco signs I'm finding say Gasoline at the top instead of Texaco. Can anyone else tell me more about this sign?

defitly looks antique to me. Some said gasoline, some said home lubricants. this specific one is motor oil. Just another type of texaco sign, which is fairly rare, made sometime during the 40's or 50's. can't price it.

There are a couple variations to this sign. This looks to be the real deal, nice find.

This sign is in pretty good condtion with minimal rust and damage. This style of the Texaco signs were made from 1945 through around 1958, with several variations along the way. The porcelain is in good shape and if it is double sided I would value this sign at around $300.
