This sign had hung in my wifes familys recroom, for at least 40 years. This sign says it is Item No. 016-101 '58 . I can not find a sign like it, anywhere on the internet. This is a flouorescent lighted sign. It is a double bowtie sign. The sign still works. Can anyone tell me the value of this sign. This sign was made by R. M. Price and associates.
Here are the dimensions of this sign
32 inches wide
Each Bow Tie is 11 1/2 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches long.
Thanks For Any Information Members Here Can Give Me.
It's nice. Value is very subjective and will be determined by a great many factors. Since it works, that's a check mark in your favor. What is the size of the sign? Dimensions are key, and it looks pretty small since it's sitting on a stool in the picture. The bigger the better, generally. It does appear to be in great condition, and that is definitely a big plus. It's not a neon sign, so that's a negative as far as value goes, but since it's pre-1960 that's another positive. Weigh all those and I'd say your sign is in the neighborhood of $100-150 retail.
