Hi I have quite a few of these similar items i bought my from Denmark.I think they are called Solje but cannot be certain I have 2 items on here.
Do you ever wear them out?
Yes! Especially the necklace and brooch (the one right above the necklace in the center). The bracelets only occasionally. They do look similar to Solje but none of them have the gold circles that many of the Solje pieces have.
hi again do they have any assay marks mine have the marks for denmark?they are very beutiful i really love them.
No, they don't, most are unmarked. I also collect butterfly's that are filigree and have the glass enameling which again are mostly Italian and Mexican. The only one I am unsure of is the brooch in the center, it has two marks that I can't read because they are ridiculously small. But I am going to start looking for ones from Denmark.
if you look for Danish ones the assay silver marks are 803s or 925s standard marks for 1900s ones .A lot where made for georg jenssen. I am hoping to sell some of mine as i dont wear them much.
