This looks like it may be an Ansonia "Prism" Crystal Regulator with an 8-day time and strike movement, faux mercury pendulum and porcelain dial. In his most recent price update (2004) Tran Duy Ly valued this model at $400.00 if it is in mint condition. Over the last four months, this model has been pretty common on Ebay (eleven) and has sold for as little as $192.50 on December 13th to as much as $510 on November 7th. The average selling price was about $331.50. Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot,The clock runs great has the original key ,no chips or cracks in the beveled glass.A little normal wear on bottom of case.Just needs 1 glass tube for the pendelum.
Hello Gus,
There is an Ebay Seller who auctions pendulums for these types of clocks. I don't know if he or she is making them or salvaging them from old clocks but they usually auction/sell for somewhere around $50-$60. If you set up a search for "Crystal Regulator" you should get a hit when one comes on the market, or you may be able to find the right sized, rigid clear plastic tubing online in order to repair/restore the original. You want to keep the clock as original as possible.
If you're collecting, this is a very nice basic Crystal Regulator. If you're selling it, best of luck to you. I hope you get a fair price.
Regards.
