I got this tin sign from my father who had this in his motorbike-shop. It is approx 40 cm high and in an ok shape. Does it have any value? For me it has, since i have nice memories from looking on it every time i got into my fathers store when i was a little boy :) I have no clue how old this is either. Anyone knows?
They don't look like motorbike tires.
they look like cheater slicks from the 60`s
i dont know id like to see both of them
Thats not motorbike tires for sure , but i dont think my father cared about that :) :) :)
it was still nice on the wall :)
Found this on web. Can i assume my sign is worth approx the same, or is mine newer? The one they sell on this link seems older style... http://www.trishhunterfinds.com.au/vintage-store/vintage-retro-artwork-online/vintage-tin-sign-for-continental-tyres/
Is there anyone who can tell me what they think about how old this is , and also maybe value? Would be fun to know :)
Looking at the way she is dressed I would say this is from the early to mid fifties. Tires were usually depicted much wider than the actual dimension, much like the model I'm sure.
count the "luvs", count the "likes", which column do you think the guys voted in?
Well I would like to take it out for a spin to see how smooth it rides ...the tire that is
..'=))
