I think this is 20s but I dont know. It is unsigned and in awesome shape. If anyone has any ideas about this piece I would be happy to listen. I am very new to vintage jewelry.

This could be used as a fur clip but technically its a dress clip. Fur clips have a double prong on a hinge. I would also guess 20's, but it may be early 40's? You say you are very new to vintage jewelry? I hope you know what your getting yourself into, prepare to become an addict..........LOL! You will find you are not alone in your addiction, you are among friends:) Welcome to the club, can't wait to see some more of your finds.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about the prong differences in the furs and dress clips. As far as becoming addicted.. sorry, already there. Any advice in the future for a fellow jewelry addict would be appreciated

I assume you have a stash then, since you are already hooked? Best advice is buy what you like, even if you find a piece by a coveted designer. If you are not attracted to it whats the point of paying for something you don't like? This is if you are just a collector, being a dealer is a totally different game! I would not suggest selling until you have a decent knowledge of the many aspects of vintage jewelry. Antique stores can be a great place to learn quality construction and that of lesser quality. Get to know some of the big names like Miriam Haskell, Trifari, Marcel Boucher etc. But the most important thing is to have fun! Post some of your collection, there are many collectors here that can add advice or just a friendly complement to a nice piece.

I dont have a stash, YET. But I am working on it. Plus I am doing tons of research on the more popular artists of the past century. I am doing this for fun and for resale. But I won't resell anything I don't have a good handle on value if there are names on them. I just bought a Florenza Maltese Cross. Will share when I have the pictures taken.
