This is a love/hate picture like the ones I've posted. like you said, what happened to the full service stations? In the small city I grew up near, there's a Sunoco station still in business selling gas and fixing cars, the only one I know of.

When they quit calling them " filling Stations" they went down hill.

Thank you very much BELLIN68, Manikin, junkmanjoe, beachbomb, pickingupbones, olegaclockman47, vanskyock24, PhilDavidAlexanderMorris, EJW-54 & Hedgewalker. I appreciate all the love & kind words and I am very glad you all enjoy the photographs. Photographing things like this is a hobby of mine, I save them to a flashdrive. As I take more photos, I will be sharing them, as there is a vast amount of subject matter around here.
PhilDavidAlexanderMorris, I actually have never been to N.J., I live in the vicinity of Kerrville, Texas.

BELLIN68, my friend, I am better, how have you been lately? I have been out of commission for the last week or so.
You have posted some great items, just getting started back looking at things again.
I tried your strategy this morning, I stepped out to get some fresh air, however, I didn't find anything!! May by I'll have better luck tomorrow.
It is great to be back!!!

I just love to pull over and stare at them and dig through them if the chance is there, a couple of times I have lucked up and the owner live next door and one time the owner stopped to see what I was up to he just happened to be passing by and gave me the go ahead:)
