    (9 items)

These were found on my bottle hunt last weekend. I found them in a
jar by a old home site. I really don't know the value they say one dollar I was using my metal detector which sucks . I dug up the whole yard and found a lot of pull tabs. On the back under the eagle there is cc and I looked them up but to confusing to figure value. One coin has a "o" on the mint mark and the other doesn't have a mint mark . I thinks it's cool I found them but don't think they are valuable.

I found about 50 all together do you know any dates on these im jusy starting out and would like to Bragg if any are old.
    3. scottvez scottvez, 13 years ago
Sorry, I don't know any of the "key dates", but the silver or melt value is about .77 X current silver price (ounce)!

So just for melt value you got a GREAT haul!

I just looked at today's silver close and at $33.45, your 50 coins have a melt value of about $1300!

I don't know coins that well, but some of your Morgans may be good dates.

Here is this link for some dates that may be higher than melt value:

The cc is Carson City Mint, It's worth alot more than melt. A cc is usally worth at least $100 and up
    9. dosher100 dosher100, 13 years ago
Why are they worth so much I just read about the 1890 cc I have and it's called a tail something . I know the price of silver is up but don't know about coins.

I still havnt figured what frgh is talk about 2006 these are from the 1800s . I have look at different sites on silver . But is it legal for some tp melt thesilver out of these coins. Because I found that before 1964 alot of silver coins were 90% silver. Just wondering
    15. scottvez scottvez, 13 years ago
