Periodically Singer would produce "Specially Badged" sewing machines for various Expositions and World Fairs. In addition to the picture of various "Badges" are examples of a few of these machines; 1) Century of Progress ~ Chicago 1933, 2)Century of Progress ~ Chicago 1934 3) "Texas Centennial Exposition ~ 1836 - 1936, 4) Golden Gate Exposition ~ San Francisco 1939, 5) Golden Gate Exposition ~ San Francisco 1940, 6) A Century of Sewing Progress ~ 1851-1951 w/ rare M.R. arm decal 7) New York World's Fair 1964-1965. Each is a rare find in and of itself but to have all 7 in a single collection is "Special"

One of the pictures features a variety of machine "badges" that Singer attached to their machines..there are many more...
Love love love your collection! The collage of the badges is fabulous! You should make that into posters (I'll take 2 please!)

Too late, an 1887 27 and put together an entire treadle system for it, and a 15-91 in a cabinet, and I'm afraid to count anymore. You're so right, it can easily turn into an obsession. Haven't bought anything in over a week though so I THINK I'm back to my senses.
I have one but i can't say what kind is it the only thing i Know a Jc series maded in canada. CAN you help me please?
TheFinder - certainly...but I'll need more information i.e., style of the machine, details to include the full serial number..
Thanks,
J.C.

I’m very curious if you know how many other singer models were given the Texas centennial badge? I saw one, a 15-91, in a shop while heading for a wedding in Dallas area. Only stopped long enough to snap pictures. Then didn’t look at the pics for a few days and noticed the Texas v]centennial badge. Wondering if it’s worth a drive to North Texas to pick it up?
