    This is not the Model 8BO1 nor AB8BO2 or 8BO5 according with my reference book "Electrifying Time". The difference appear on the "face" of the clock, i.e., the front metal panel without an etched design. Edgar Bourquin both design and invented the first cyclometer clocks. The patent, presented on July 1933, was not awarded until February 12, 1935. Any way, it is running and given very accurate time. Even more important, it is beautiful !!

      I missed your comment re model # my first time through... Actually, this is an 8B01. The etched diamond pattern is in the glass that covers the brass face, which is either missing or replaced with plain glass on yours.
