Inherited these chairs and have no idea of their value or when they were made. I do know they were purchased in 1935 in Kansas City. I have been unable to find any others like them.

They're Venetian chairs either "Rocco" style or real baroque chairs. The difference, Rocco style furniture/art came after the baroque period and tried to captivate and revive the baroque period often too elaborately. The Venetians on the other hand, were far more elaborate in the baroque period hence the carvings on these chairs would be more "exuberant" than many others of the same period. Venice always had master craftsmen that set themselves apart from the mainstream... look at the buildings and glass of that period. Lots of scrolls, oak leaves, flowers, clams and things in their architecture can be found in their furniture.
If baroque 16 - 18 hundred, if Rocco 1800's. How to tell, nails, joints and glue.
