Bought at estate auction about 1996. Three Elgin watches and two Los Vegas Special Edition chips. Top watch shows a patten date of Feb 19 1884 Serial # 5157479. The back Shows Fahys Ore Silver #362546 .Ore silver is an alloy that is hard to tell from silver.Kinda like a fake silver. The jewler that showed me how to open the case said he was pretty sure it was silver. It is very durable and does not tarnish. Not buying any silver from this jewler. Big ol heavy watch in working cond. Watch is about 2 inch in diametor and approx 1/2 in thick. Thanks and enjoy.
