    This green trunk is 26 wide 16 deep and 19 tall with ver small wheels on bottom corners , anyone know what this is made for so small, how old? cant find a name even on the very simple lock. Lock has name of Eagle Lock Co, Terryville Ct

      This is a standard trunk in form and style made by many makers of the time. Without a label you will be hard pressed to find a maker. Nice to see the leather straps intact as they are usually weathered away. My guess as to date would be around 1910-30. Perhaps another contributor could be more accurate. I have refinished many of these types over the years, and they come out rather nicely. (if you like refinished trunks) Otherwise they look great cleaned up. Enjoy!!

      It is a child's trunk or "doll trunk". They were made proportionately smaller, which is why I missed it on my first comment because it is hard to know the size from a picture without a reference. They are a little harder to come by. Hope this helps...
