Acquired from a small, local, antique shoppe, in Wrentham, Massachusetts. The shoppe owner, stated that he purchased this transom, from a private residence, during one of his excursions, up in Maine. Original framing, lead caming, and glass. No repairs are evident - c. 1910

Since it's purchase, I've been trying to determine, what the center image pattern is.....an Owl? What do you think?

Hi Rob...thank you, for your post, and input. For a moment, I thought you may be right, and then remembered, that I had never removed the original window pull, which is on the bottom of the frame. You can't see it, in the photo, so indeed, the window, is right-side up.

      Thanks again : )

stainedglass, it may still be upside down if this was a transom window.......and I support the theory that it's just a design not meant to be anything in particular. Just my opinion...............

Thanks for your comment, and the like, Pop_abides...I suppose, for now, it's best to leave the interpretation, of this window, to the eyes of the viewer.
