Here is an item that I thought I would share and it seems some of you may enjoy taking a look at.
The type of pull tab on this item is named a Hamm Bone pull tab. The reason being that it was found exclusively on American Hamm beer cans and no others. This variation does show it was on the Budweiser as well. This can is in nearly perfect shape with neither the top or bottom being open. It may have been a prototype, salesman, or test can. It was made during the transition from flat top steel cans to aluminum pull tab cans. This can was strictly made in Florida. It seems to be the only known example of this type.
Thank you for looking my friends and have a blessed day! : )
I appreciate the comment and you showin some love for this item BELLIN. Peace out....
Thanks for taking a look at this item jon5412 and packrat. I appreciate you guys showing some love for the Bud as well!! : )
Hey pickingupbones. Thanks for loving and picking up my Bud!! : )
Way cool. When I'm talking on the phone to someone with a forgotten 70's collection,I always say "recycle the aluminum" Not in your case. This may be a Hamm's dog bone tab,but to have it stamped AB makes it theirs. And to have this be an airfilled, pristine example,well...DANG! Have you thought about posting this to the Rusty Bunch site? With your permission,I would.I'd like to know more myself! Keep up the good work-I enjoy your treasures.
I already did post it my friend. Thank you for the love and thank you so much for the information you provided to me now and all the other times before as well. Here is the link on the forum:
