Produced by Ihagee Kamerawerk from 1953-54 in USSR occupied Dresden, Germany. Highly collectable. This SLR was originally produced to compete with Hasselblad yet because of the selling price of $300 and shutter issues it was discontinued after only about 2500 were made. A beautiful and heavy camera which takes 120 roll film and still has the original Carl Zeiss Jena 2.8/80mm lens. Luckily the shutter still works in this one.

Thank you John. It is amazing how square and lens heavy it is. By the way, I still follow your camera postings and the interesting info that you share about each . Keep up the good work.
