    was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this and if so could you please tell me something about it, other than it's pewter/copper and old. it measures 19" across and weighs around 2 lbs.

      I would say it is a wall plaque as opposed to being a plate. It may have hung in an army hospital or possibly made as a gift. If it was mass produced for the army it should have a DOD or DOA etc. number on it. Everything in the service has a part number and usually a manual to tell you everything you never wanted to know.

      In any case, it's pretty cool. I'd love to see other versions if there are any (No offense to dentists haha!).
