I love it the way it is. Don't look like there is any parts left to salvage! I have a 1939 house, and I would stick it in the flower bed by the front door and let plants grow up through the windows. I have the same car, and matching travel trailer. In just a little better condition.

I'd say remove that active orange/red rust, then stabilize the rest of the steel with oil or what have you and you'll have a neat decorator piece. Now I've never tried this with metal, but maybe shellack (or some other clear coat) the thing to hold in that nice brown patina. In any case, you really can't hurt the value, so have some fun and make it the way you want it!

You could always play Dr Frankenstein in the metal work shop to try to bring it back to life. New patched bumper here, replaced grille there, even add your own flair if your feeling creative. Might turn into a neat "folk art" type of piece when your done too. The only limit is your imagination (and possibly your free time :P).

      Cheers!

I got a wyondoyte ambulance I dug out the ashes under a boiling pot. No tires and rusty and I love it as I found it
