What an awesome idea for the counter base. I'm converting the kitchen\living room into a 60s diner, and I think you just solved my biggest problem. A junk dealer in town has one of these old coolers too.

i had been looking for a bar for a long time. I was even going to build one. Then one day at my favorite antique store i saw this victor cooler. problem solved. i had to traid my stoner candy machine and a little cash but it was worth it to me. you can find these victor coolers without the tops. ma and pap stores in the old days added these counters to them because of space issues. i am glad you were inspired a.canucklehead .
