Got these 3 old Oak gumball machines in a little trading post last week. They were mounted on a Ford gumball stand which I was wanting for my Ford machine. The two smaller machines are Oak Acorns, the center one is an Oak Vista. I believe these are ogrinially late 40s early 50s? The Vista is one of the older Vistas in which all 4 panels of the globe are glass not plastic. I had a key from another old machine that happened to open the Vista so have taken it apart and am in the middle of a themed restoration of it. It is cleaning up well. I dont have a key that works on these Acorns but have one coming this week that may work and if not will get one made. Will eventually get them all cleaned up and restored. I am anxious to get the Richard Petty trading card out of the 10 cent machine. The Vista only had about $3 worth of quarters in it. I will post some photos when finished with em

Update: I drilled out the locks on the Acorns and have new locks coming to replace them. Have started cleaning them up abd they will restore nicely. Gonna need a new gumball mechanism in one though. Good news was that one of theses was a 25 cent machine not a dime as I thought. It had $29 worth of quarters in it! More than paid for the new locks and parts I need.
