I think your clock is circa 1940?

One like yours in mint condition with the original box and papers recently sold at auction for $200:

See Item number: 150717184024 on eBay. The same condition clock and box sold for about $160.
Without the box, you're probably looking at 40-50% of that, but like I said Kerry's the penultimate Mickey collector.
As a matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken a photo of this clock model is what kerry10456 uses for his profile picture! LOL! Yeah, he probably has several of them. Your lead photo is of the movement. Maybe he missed your listing at first glance. He'll probably get around to it. In the meantime, I hope I've helped you with some very general info.

Howdy Bruce99, Thanks for the heads-up. I rearranged the photos. thanks also for the research you did about how much it is selling for around cyber space. Box and inserts are missing, but it works and is clean inside. Do you know, are there many working ones "out there"?

I really don't know how rare they are.
From the little bit of research that I did yesterday, I was left with the impression that this manufacturer/model was very popular and that the same manufacturer had a big hit with the every popular Mickey watches. So my guess would be that there's probably a lot of them still out there. I had very little problem finding a couple of mint examples with original boxes.. etc...but as I said, I don't know, I'm not a collector and would defer to Kerry on that.

Well Bruce has hit the value pretty close, If you had the box and in this condition, it would fetch $175-250. I would say in this condition, it would be worth $75-140, depends on the day. As the date goes, these were introduced in 1947, the first "post-war" Mickey clocks. They (Ingersoll) ran these for 2 years and in 1949 they introduced the "Bakelite" casing. Yours is a very clean collectable, thank you for sharing it.

Hi rkmontg342, there may be a lot of them out there but I'm sure there are still a lot of Mickey collectors out there too. The movement is pretty good quality for a novelty clock of this type. Brass plates, brass gears that are all accessible.
I bought and serviced a "Big Bird" alarm clock, circa early 80's, for my adult daughter a couple of years ago (for sentimental "Seasame Street Live" reasons) and I tell you, that movement was not made to service. It was basically a cheap stamped low quality steel unit with some plastic parts thrown in. Plus it was very difficult just to get to the movement! I almost had to use a can opener! :) It works fine now. It ticks pretty loud so she displays but doesn't wind it. I'm glad, because I'd hate to have to go back in to fix something!

Good Morning Bruce, That Big Bird clock sounds like it gave you a run-for-your-money, so to speak. The fact you fixed it illuminates your skills. They just don't make things like they used to.

Yeah, it might actually be worth something some day because they were made to throwaway. Your Mickey Clock, on the other hand, was obviously built to last.
You had ask in comment #5 about how many "working" ones might be out in the world. I would be shooting at the moon, but to find one as clean and bright as yours, I would say less than a 1000.
