THE ONLY THING TELL YOU ABOUT WERE THE DECANTER MAY HAVE COME FROM

This is one beautiful wine decanter. Here's the thing i can not find anything out about this wine decanter all i can say is that my mom got the decanter from a old Jewish couple that she use to take care of and when the lady died the old man gave the decanter to my mom he told my mom that it had been given to his wife from her mother.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DECANTER TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY

I don't know the age I don't know who made it I couldn't tell you were it came from, but what I can tell you is that it looks very old and it looks handmade its a dark red glass and all the designs are done in STERLING SILVER and over mid way to the top is silver and there is a man and a woman dancing on one side and a castle or some kind of house on the other with this designs all though it.

    DIMENSIONS

Decanter: 10" Tall, 3.5" Wide, Shot Glasses: 3.5" Tall, 1.5" Wide

    CONDITION OF THE WINE DECANTER

You can see that the decanter is tarnished the designs are black in spots and the designs on the shot glasses are black and at the bottom of the glass, now you can see were I did take a silver cleaner cloth and try to rub lightly on two of the glasses at the bottom that's why they look a little cleaner. Now beside the decanter being tarnished it is in every good condition it has know chips no breaks and little signs of ware little or no signs of ware in the silver its just beautiful.

    RESEARCH THAT I HAVE DONE

I have been online asking questions putting videos on U tube and know one can give me much information about this wine decanter. What someone did tell me is that Germany, the Bahamas, and the middle east could have made it. And I was told that if it was old that the silver would be painted on like brushed and if it was newer the silver would be taped on I can tell you that it looks like it was painted on not taped.
