I've been collecting Antique Corkscrews for about 6 years now. Back when I lived in Chicago, my golfing buddy Josef, had caught the bug. He began to tell me stories of his latest adventures and Big Scores. This reminded me of when I collected Beanie Babies in the late 90's (oh how I miss those days! Kinda...) Well, it didn't take long for me to jump on the band wagon.
As most of you collectors know, when you start, it can easily get out of control! Figurals, Mechanicals, Sterling, Bone, Carved, Simple, Pocket, Patented, Roundlets, Miniatures, etc...
I do fancy Syroco Corkscrews the best, but I still find myself collecting everything I can get my hands on! :o)
Here are a few pictures of some favorites in my collection.
Also, I'm posting a few of my "Best 6" entries. What is a "Best 6" you ask? Amongst us corkscrew collectors, we like to submit (to the Canadian Corkscrew Collector Club) our most prized pieces collected over the past year. Just a fun way to show off what corkscrews you've discovered and celebrate our discoveries together.
Got any to sell?
Maybe to trade or donate?
Or do you have one you'd like more information on?
I'm interested! Feel free to contact me anytime!
I'd love to hear from you!
Cheers
