I have a whole album full of these types of records, they are all 78s, and dated August 11 1908. Really Old but surprisingly in excelent condition.
I have played a few anf other than that special sound you hear on 78s, they sound really great. I have done some research on the web, but have not seen any as old as these.
This one has Carry me back to old Virginny, and on the Flip is Mighty Lak a Rose, This is nto a mis spelling it is LAK a Rose
The first Victor 10" 78's were introduced in 1901. The first year they used the dog and "His Masters Voice" was in 1902.
hope this helps
This record was recorded and released in 1925. It is a "Bat Wing" Victor label (note the design at the top,) and they were made from 1914 to 1926. You can date any Victor record to 1930 at the University of California Santa Barbara Discography web site. The information for this record is at:

Very valuable web site.
dmacdonald is corect. I would just like to ad "LAK" is not a mis spelling, it is a slang term for "like".
