Designed in 1968 this is my favourite glassware range designed by Per Lütken. It includs the design of a punch-bowl, two decanters (the tallest one on the picture here), a jug, a "fogliet" (thirs picture... how you call this in English?) and 11 different pieces of glasses: beer, red wine, white whine, port, sherry, liquor, schnaps, brandy, whisky, champagne and cocktail.

So far there's thre pieces missing in my collection: the jug, the smaller decanter and the cocktail glass..

      Hi austrohungaro!

I have a few in storage of the glasses with the years ( in the seventies - I think) engraved on them. I'll have to go down to the 'shed'!

As to the third photo I'd say carafe.
But there's another old expression in English which was used : water monkey.

In Danish I've read that they use vinkaraffel and fogliet.

But that shape is a very old one. It goes back, way back in time.
In Latin the term was 'folia'. In Persia it was the 'vetro', the 'bottle', the bottom part of a nârgil. In Spanish 'narguile' o narguilé! If you know what I mean?

      Vetro is an important word!

Water monkey? haha, that's a good one :) In Spanish I'd say it is a frasca, but that is a different kind of bottle (like this http://www.vidrimon.net/catalogo.asp?articulo=69&familia=45&subfamilia=1103). The most simmilar word tocarafe in Spanisg should be garrafa, but it doesn't really fit with the shape of it. I'll have to investgate on the subject LOL
