(120 items)
Alright last time i posted an item the condition of it was pretty rough, so i decided to go after a near mint condition item this time. Only problem with near mint condition items is they are pretty pricey so i had to settle with a french version near mint condition coca cola palm push. I took 6 years of french back in public school (mandatory in Ontario schools) so french items are still pretty desirable to me, but we all know a english version would be best! It was made from 1947-1952 one of the newer palm pushes they started making these in 1938. I think i did pretty good this time price wise, but wanted to see what you guys think of it before i say how much i spent :)
Thank You Spriteboy42
Just wondering, whats with the thermometers? they look different. I only seen the one right before
They are, the one on the right is a common 1950's 17" bottle thermometer the one on the left is harder to find 1940's 17" thermometer. The 1940's thermometer is not listed in Petrett's book, but its listed in Wilson's Coca Cola Price guide 2nd edition page 126.
Thanks officialfuel
Thats a great grouping of very nice signs Trev, nicely done!!
That door looks like it leads to The Stairway to Heaven! Nice placement. I know those door pushes can be 'spensive Trevor! Three?????
Thanks fifties50s, pickrknows, and Dave. I now have two different palm pushes and 6 different push bars!
Oh and Ray i think i did okay price wise, book value is 175$, ended up getting mine for 150$. Is that overpaying? underpaying? or fair price?
I say "Nice Snag Trevor"! As TGBWC said, great condition pays off in the long run.
Thanks Dave :)
