    here is 2 ginger beer bottles i found digging i cant really say anything bar the description of them.the clear is c and p Barrie trade mark Glasgow Dundee the lid is a screw off 280mm high 70mm wide 7359grams in weight .the bottom of the bottle has C BAND Co .N. the second bottle is j.Gilmour weir street paisley. brown colour 235mm high 60mm wide 409grams weight thats all i know

      Ginger beer was originally called switchel. Any old Vermont farmer drank it every haying season. It has been around for ages. You always gave a guest or traveler a glass of switchel. When they started adding ginger they called it ginger beer. No alcohol in it but they still called it ginger beer.

      If researching ginger beer doesn't get you results try switchel makers. It originated in Europe. I think Switzerland.

      A good thirst quencher.
