You have an Emerson 350AW from 1933. Do the doors still work?

My old memory came alive. This Emerson radio was my grandpa's radio.
Last time I saw was 1961 when grandma was alive. I guessed grandpa bought it before WW II. I remember woodwork was delicate and beautiful. I was in Kyoto Japan. It is interesting before Sony and Panasonic came to be big time Emerson radio had been king of radio in Japan.
