The Brenda Starr Cub Reporter is a simple plastic camera for 127 film, made in Chicago by Seymore Products, who also made the more commonly-seen Dick Tracy camera. Both cameras are, of course, based on popular comic strips, but the Brenda Starr camera has the distinction of being the only camera of this type to have a four-color enameled faceplate. I imagine they decided it just wouldn't be right to depict Brenda in anything less!
The Brenda Starr Cub Reporter camera was made around 1947.
I sold one of these this past winter...I really wanted to keep it. I love this look!
